Terms of Use

01The service

The app offers illustrated “critic” characters and supportive thoughts for self-reflection about body image and self-talk. Using it requires a paid subscription, which starts with a free trial (see below). We may change, add or remove features and content at any time.

02Subscriptions and free trial

• The app is available through an auto-renewing subscription. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial, once per store account.
• The price and billing period are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm. Payment is charged to your store account when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or via Profile → Manage subscription in the app.
• Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period. If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Payments are processed by the store; we never see your card details.

03Not medical advice

The app is a self-help tool. It is not therapy, counselling, or medical or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace a qualified professional. If you are in distress or at risk of harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.

04Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the app. If you are under the age of majority, you should use it with the permission of a parent or guardian.

05Your account

The app creates an anonymous account automatically. If you add an email account, keep your password secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Profile in the app (see the Privacy Policy).

06Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, disrupt or overload the app or its servers;
• access data that is not yours, or attempt to bypass security;
• use the app for any unlawful purpose or to harm others;
• copy, resell or redistribute the app’s content or characters.

07Intellectual property

The app, its characters, illustrations, animations and texts belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.

08App stores

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement; Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, and has no warranty obligations beyond those required by law. If you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply. In case of conflict, these terms apply between you and us.

09Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

10Termination

You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
